Diversity and Talent Management Specialist
Claudia Iton is an expert in employee engagement, talent and performance management, and cultural change programmes, with a special interest in diversity and inclusion. Originally from Trinidad, her career has spanned roles in consulting, oil and gas, and FMCG. Most recently she was the Global HR Director (Personal Care) for Unilever. At EW Group, her contract deliveries include unconscious bias training at the NHS East Midlands Leadership Academy, and diversity mentoring action learning sets at the BBC. Claudia brings a particular focus on needs analysis and training design: she led the research and design of Unilever’s Inclusion curriculum. The curriculum is now used for the organisation’s global Diversity and Inclusion policy, and central to its High Performing Teams’ guide. Claudia has developed and delivered OD and talent strategies in global innovation teams, as well as programmes in unconscious bias awareness and inclusive leadership. She is also a qualified practitioner in the following psychometric tools: MBTI, FIRO-B and TKI.
