Diversity and Unconscious Bias Specialist (France)
Marianne specialises in supporting organisations to build their business case for diversity and inclusion. She works with clients to create diversity strategies that are most relevant to them, and to recommend the most appropriate actions for their deployment. She designs and facilitates sessions on unconscious bias, and its impact on decision-making and team performance, for employees and managers. Marianne is the former Diversity and Inclusion lead at FTSE20 company Imperial Brands plc. Her work included the creation of a six-month action plan that featured a flexible working policy, unconscious bias training sessions, a community of diversity champions, career talks and HR thinking days.
Marianne is also passionate about the concept of intrapreneurship. Her second book is dedicated to that subject and will be published in autumn 2017. She has spoken at numerous business events, including the Aspire Conference in London, the Hays Diversity and Inclusion event in Bristol and the Intrapreneurship Conference in Vienna. Fluent in French and Spanish, Marianne also has a Master’s Degree from NEOMA Business School and has recently been certified from HEC Paris’s ‘Becoming a social entrepreneur’ programme. Marianne’s clients include Catalina Marketing and the Chartered Insurance Institute, where she has delivered a series of unconscious bias workshops for managers.
