Diversity and Inclusion Specialist
Terence Joe is an accomplished manager with 25 years of experience in leadership, diversity, and inclusion within health and social care divisions. He has led numerous projects with a focus on accessibility and equality. Working for the Thames Valley Police Service, Terence developed, designed, and facilitated training on hate crime prevention, and effective communication with the LGBT community. The Health Foundation has commended his work on improving access to public health services for vulnerable individuals, and he was awarded a place on the Health Foundation Leaders for Change Program in 2006. Terence also has a learned understanding of mental health issues and solutions, having co-produced a patient experience strategy with mental health user groups and service users in London Boroughs. Terence is passionate about authentic leadership and organisational culture, and is currently completing an MSc in Organisation Behaviour to broaden his knowledge on these topics.
