This was a training for which I came with a negative perception and I left with a positive one. My main learning is not necessarily what you get out of a candidate during the interview, but what you miss. In our example today, we saw that they were probably not a good fit for the role advertised, however they had very valuable attributes the company might be looking for elsewhere. Nurturing and developing diverse candidates will help our company as a whole.
