Karen is a dedicated and self-motivated Diversity & Inclusion Consultant with over 20 years’ experience. Karen has worked with a variety of organizations in the private and public sectors designing and delivering diversity and inclusion audits, inclusive recruitment reviews, policy development, equality impact assessments, inclusive leadership coaching, tailored training workshops and more.

Before moving to a career as a Consultant, Karen spent twenty years in the public sector in senior roles, including Head of Diversity & Inclusion and Leadership Development at the Department of Health, and Head of Diversity & Organization Development at the Cabinet Office. She led a number of major corporate programs with notable successes – including achieving Investors in People accreditation for both organizations and moving the Department of Health from 110th to 23rd position in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index. She also managed large scale Equality Impact Assessments, such as the Change and Restructuring program across the Department of Health and its Arms Length Bodies.

Karen is passionate about personal growth, continuous learning and professional development. She is a Fellow of the Chartered institute of Personnel and Development and has a Masters in Strategic HR, a Masters in Education, and a post graduate Certificate in Coaching. She is also an accredited practitioner for development psychometrics such as Implicitly (Unconscious Bias), MBTI, Team Management Index and the Strength Development Inventory.
