Penny helps leaders and teams align strategy, people and processes to achieve business ambitions and shape the ways of working they need for sustained success.
Penny brings strategic advisory and change management experience gained in her work across the UK transport, housing, infrastructure, engineering and technology sectors, as well as from her previous career as a local government director, public affairs manager and government urban policy adviser in Australia. In recent years, Penny has advised international engineering and design firms, major contractors and UK asset owners and managers on change programs supporting diversity strategy, business improvements, collaboration and high-performing teams. These achievements have built on work with the UK Office for Public Management creating bespoke leadership programs to improve performance in local and central government.
Penny is a skilled facilitator and has delivered major consultation, conferences, senior team away days and simulations. A qualified coach, she has recently coached women engineers as part of a talent management effort for a major UK building contractor. A committed volunteer with expertise in human rights and mental health, Penny chairs Room to Heal UK and is a former board member at Foundation House, Australia. She mentors third sector leaders and recently worked as the Interim Director at the Helen Bamber Foundation, managing the transition to a new leadership model.
