Philip has worked with a cross-sector range of clients with their middle managers and senior leaders in enhancing positive management and leadership qualities. His work on the leadership of change and uncertainty focuses on the leading of self before others, and the pragmatic requirement of making change a reality rather than just a concept. He adopts a behaviorist approach and sees managing change and uncertainty as an organizational journey, as opposed to a simple process.
Philip’s experience directly stems from his 20+ year career working as a solicitor and Corporate Director. His particular area of expertise is the delivery of bespoke on-site programs that match the needs of the future leadership of the business.
Philip is a non-practicing Solicitor and has a PhD and MBA from Aston University Business School. He is also accredited at ILM Level 7 in Executive Coaching and Mentoring. He is a Research Fellow and Associate of Aston University, Warwick Business School and an associate with INLOGOV at the University of Birmingham.
