Polly is an experienced Inclusion Specialist with a passion for diversity and inclusion, in particular issues relating to gender and LGBT+. She has also worked on youth and disability inclusion. As an ex Communications Director, Polly is particularly strong in supporting clients around brand activation and communications in the inclusion space, alongside diagnostic and strategy work. Polly is also a media and public speaker and has experience in both moderating and participating on panels around D&I.
Polly co-founded Out and About LGBTQIA, a company that connects the community through shared experiences. Polly is currently consulting at The Royal Society of Medicine, developing a global inequalities program and an EDI training program for the health care sector.
Recent projects of Polly’s include supporting D&I initiatives with DIVA Media Group, Pride Sports, Women in Sport, Brentford Football Club and leading global events company, Innovision. She has also worked with brands that include Barclays, PwC, Tesco and Amazon.
Polly has been consulting in the not-for-profit and commercial sectors following a career as a Communications Director. She was on the Board of Pride in London until 2018 and has led the development of the first Women’s Stage and a mayoral-backed business program, Pride in the City.
Polly’s commitment to D&I has been recognised through various awards, including being listed in the Top 20 LGBT+ Leaders List by The Financial Times in 2018 and more recently in The Guardian’s Pride Power Lists of 2019 and 2020. She is also recognized as a leader in Profit for Purpose at the 2019 UK Sponsorship Awards. Polly sits on various inclusion committees, including Intermedia and Trans in the City.
