Diversity and Talent Management Consultant
Teresa’s work for EW Group covers both strategic work and delivery. Her specialisms include policy development, investigations, research, coaching, facilitation and talent management – with a focus on working at an organisational level to build inclusive cultures.
Teresa’s expertise has meant she’s EW Group’s go-to for research having delivered many reports for our extensive client base, including co-authoring a report on ‘A Regional Approach to Talent Management‘ for the NHS London Leadership Academy. Teresa designed a delivery a diversity and inclusion strategy for a FTSE 100 company providing recommendations on how to address the representation and progression of women in the company. Likewise, she’s delivered a feasibility report to HS2 on how to take forward their inclusive procurement model and a review of recruitment practice at the Arts Council England.
Teresa has also produced and delivered training on Reasonable Adjustments and Equality Analysis for Brent Council, a development centre for BAME staff in a hospital and facilitated Unconscious Bias training for South East Coast Ambulance Service.
Teresa loves working at all levels: one to one, team and organisational to make a difference. She especially enjoys helping employees and organisations alike to identify their strengths and to determine how they can make the most of their abilities. Teresa has worked in HR in a variety of organisations and roles over the last 25 years, including the NHS and Civil Service. She worked at the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit for five years. She also worked for four years as Head of Diversity and Wellbeing at the Department for Transport. Teresa is the founder/director of a social enterprise called TogetherinUK, reflecting her interests in migration and integration.
