Teresa’s work for EW Group concentrates on diversity audits, inclusive recruitment, Equality Impact Assessments, and policy development. She has conducted Diversity Audits for a range of organisations, including the Lime Tree Trust, Ambitious About Autism, the Royal Society of Chemistry, Bromford Housing Association, among others. Teresa is passionate about and interested in inclusive recruitment and has worked with the Arts Council on a review of their recruitment practice.
Her work on Equality Impact Assessments includes service delivery, HR policy and delivering training courses on topics around equality, diversity and inclusion. Teresa believes in the importance of getting policies right in order to create a safe and supportive workplace and has written policies for many different organisations to support them in making fairer workplaces through policies and procedures.
Prior to joining EW Group in 2015, Teresa worked in HR in a variety of organisations and roles over the last 25 years, including the NHS and Civil Service. She worked at the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit for five years and worked for four years as Head of Diversity and Wellbeing at the Department for Transport. Teresa is the founder/director of a social enterprise called TogetherinUK, reflecting her interests in migration and integration.
