Training materials
EW Group is the owner and author of all intellectual property rights including copyright pertaining to all documents, products, course content, bespoke source code and other deliverables forming part of the Service deliverables including, but not limited to; narrative, exercises, images, logos, examples, tests, questions, discussion points, films/videos and interactive elements (hereinafter referred to as ‘the training materials’).

The Client accepts that any unauthorised use of the training materials may amount to an infringement of copyright and shall constitute a breach of this contract.  Unauthorised use includes, but is not limited to, copying, issuing copies, digital reproduction, adapting, extracting, disseminating, selling or licensing the training materials without the prior written authority of EW Group.

Prior written authority shall not be unreasonably withheld where the Client seeks to use the training materials for the purpose of supporting the training course in discussion groups or to disseminate the training materials to delegates who have completed the course. For the avoidance of doubt, permission to use films and videos belonging to EW Group will not be granted. Any unauthorised use of films or videos may amount to an infringement of copyright and shall constitute a breach of this contract. Unauthorised use includes, but is not limited to, showing, copying, issuing copies, digital reproduction, adapting, making, extracting, disseminating, distributing, selling or licensing of films of videos belonging to EW Group or its licensors.

All intellectual property rights in all materials provided by the client necessary for the EW Group to deliver the Services shall remain with the Client and its licensors.

Refunds for our on-demand e-learning
We’re confident that our e-learning represents excellent value for money. However, should you decide not to proceed with the e-learning after purchase we will happily send you a full refund. Please note, though, that due to the instant on-demand nature of the module, we are unable to offer refunds once it has been accessed (i.e. logged into) for the first time.

Open Courses with EW Group – Terms and Conditions

– Payment
All fees are payable in full on registration. Your course place is only confirmed once full payment is received. Fees do not include travel or accommodation expenses.

– Cancellation and Refund
In the event of cancellation by the delegate, EW Group operates a sliding scale of charges:

  • Cancellation 4 weeks or more before workshop = refund 100%
  • Cancellation 3 weeks before workshop =  refund 75%
  • Cancellation 2 weeks before workshop = refund 50%
  • Cancellation less than 2 weeks before workshop = no refund

EW Group reserves the right to amend the timetable and venues in exceptional circumstances. Delegates will be notified of changes as early as possible.

– Data Protection
Any personal data gathered will only be used in the context of your training with EW Group. We may disclose information to a third party (ILM, City and Guilds or their regulatory authority).

– Delegate commitment
By applying for a place on the programme, the delegate agrees to:

  • Commit the time and effort required to complete all elements of the programme
  • Attend and participate in workshops and coaching sessions
  • Take responsibility for their own learning and completion of assignments
  • Conduct themselves in such a way that respects the rights of others.
