As diversity and inclusion specialists, we recognise that all our coaching clients are different. You may be looking to develop your leadership and management skills, or to work more inclusively throughout your teams or departments. Or perhaps you’re wrestling with a particular workplace issue. Or you’re looking to take your career into new heights, or into a new industry or sector. You may have never tried professional coaching before, or perhaps you’re looking for new approaches to the coaching process, tailored directly to your needs.

How flexible is the coaching?

You can count on our coaches to be honest, straightforward and constructive. We’ll ask questions, make requests and challenge when needed, all in a safe, supportive space. We’ll remain flexible throughout, adjusting the coaching experience to your needs. We’ll try different tools and techniques, or increase the degree of challenge as you get used to the coaching process. Whatever your goals from coaching, everything is designed to be the best fit possible for you.

How long does the executive coaching take?

It’s up to you. Some of our clients choose a handful of sessions in the run-up to an important interview. Others will pursue coaching over the long-term, individually or as part of a specific phase of organisational development.

Where is it based?

We know your time is at a premium, so we offer 1:1 coaching sessions in-person (at your workplace or in confidence at our London head office), over the phone or via online video chat (Skype or Google Hangout, for example).

Is there a specific approach EW Group takes to executive coaching?

Do you set goals?

Our approach to executive coaching always starts with agreeing your goals. To measure against these, your coach will check in at the end of each session to gauge progress and consider your verbal feedback.

Then, at an agreed point in the programme, your coach will request written feedback as part of a mid-point review. This phase factors in your reflections on the difference that the coaching sessions have made in the workplace. This process is then repeated at the end of the coaching programme. With your permission, we’ll also include the chance to seek feedback from your line manager, sponsor and/or reports on the business benefits of your coaching.

When the coaching programme comes to an end, we also encourage further internal review after three to six months. This gives you and your organisation the opportunity to properly reflect on the impact the coaching has had on your personal and corporate goals.

Annie is the lead consultant on our work with the NHS and produced their Equality and Diversity Leadership Competency Framework. Annie has consulted with senior managers in national public sector organisations, universities and trade unions. She has recently coached at Santanderthe Department of Healththe Royal Marsden Hospital, and Invensys. She has an ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching, and a PhD in Organisational Psychology. Annie is a Member of the London Central Employment Tribunals and a Trustee of Citizens Advice.

Mandy is experienced in achieving results through one-to-one development of leaders and managers. Her coaching is designed to support leaders through change, building their ability to think strategically, to develop both self-awareness and confidence. In addition to her extensive coaching experience, Mandy is a skilled facilitator of senior teams, she is also an experienced workshop and action learning set leader. Mandy has coached clients at London Probation Trust, MIND and Amnesty International. She has a Diploma in Corporate and Executive Coaching, and is a Member of the Association for Coaching.

With a passion for social change, Paula works predominantly in the charitable sector. She has recently delivered executive coaching for the senior leadership team at NCFE (Northern Council for Further Education), at Age UK North Tyneside, and for Clore Social Fellows. She is an accredited practitioner in MBTI, FIRO-B,16PF, Hay Emotional Intelligence, Human Design and DISC assessments, as well as NLP, Appreciative Inquiry and Action Learning. She also designs and delivers coaching development programmes accredited by the Chartered Management Institute: Level 5 Coaching and Mentoring, and Level 7 Leadership Coaching. Paula is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and a Member of the Association for Coaching.
